In this blog I would like to talk about intresting topic Cultural studies and apart of this I talk about Why are we afraid of robots?
Why are we scared of Artificial Intelligence?
Even though robots and AI are products of human imagination & intelligence, the human creative imagination loves to tell stories where in we are warned against Robots / AIs. Why? Why our stories about robots and AI scare us? Is there some deep truths in these narratives? or are they useless apprehensions?
My interpretation:-
So if talk about the technology it's become more powerful day by day. We humans involve the technology in very deep way in their life. They make machines and Robots for the fast and speedy work. They create new invention and try to control that. We all know that creator always control their creation. But sometimes it's become different way that invention harm to human.
Robots already play a pivotal role in society.
we must be said that sooner or later robots are going to take over the world.industrial robotics market alone is predicted to grow 175% in the next 10 years.
It’s just a matter of time before we create sentient robots that decide humans are superfluous to requirements. When it happens, the best we can hope for is that they keep us as pets. If we talk about the robot than first we have to awre about the advantage and disadvantage of the robot.
Advantages:-
Accuracy in their work
Make fewer mistake
More reliable than humans
Never tired work in 24/7
Save time
Don't complain
Can't say no
There are lots of advantages of the robot but still we see the disadvantage in it. So one point coming here is that why? We do like that why we don't accept robot very easy way.
Because we heard the stories and some rumours that robot harm the humans. That stories make us to believe and scared for the robot.
Disadvantages:-
They Leas humans to lose their jobs:
They need constant power
Emotionless
They are expensive
They become the reason of cybersecurity issue.
Reduce human capabilities
The danger of robots taking over the world and killing off all the humans.
Needless to say, it’s a terrifying prospect, made even worse by how feasible this eventuality is! Computers are getting more intelligent by the day. Sooner or later they’ll develop a level on sentience that enables them to make decisions for themselves.And then? Terminator.
We all know it ends with the terminator. Hopefully, the decision-makers of the world have enough sense to leave the lid on this enormous can of worms. Take it off and we’re sure to enjoy a world of trouble.
If we took some examples of the movie like Robot movie.
In that we find that actor Put emotions in the robot and it's became more dangerous for all of them. And at last robot became more agressive and try to kill the people.
In short through this example I just want to say that we have that type of stories which try to more agressive that the vidrob type.
So main thing is that our movies imagine a doom spiral of slavery and extinction, but reality is a bit different. Robots build cars and assist in various industries. People imagine robots as being terrifying, but real robots are useful and enhancing life. It’s now that Artificial Intelligence has matured to the point where machines can simulate human capabilities with a high degree of accuracy and even learn on their own, that it seems many see machines and robots as conscious beings. Which is not the case.
The reality is that robots (including AI) are just tools just like every tool we’ve every used before.And the person using the tool is the one to decide if it’s to be used for good or evil.
So the thing to fear isn’t the tool but the person using the tool.
I think people may be afraid of robots because they fear that robots will wipe out the human race and are capable of replacing us - eg. many jobs will be disappearing in the future due to the better working quality of robots.
People may also fear robots because the are different from anything else that they have seen. Mostly everyone has seen an iPad or a television but it will be a very small fraction of the population that has saw a robot that is meant to represent a human.

1)The first one is about babysitter robot who becomes so obsessed of the child that murders the murder.
In this short film we can see that mother had a babysitter robot but at the long time they become obsessed and try to murder mother.
This kind of films are try to scare us from the technology and specially robot. And it's normal thing that if we make something than as time passes it get worse. Humans make robots that it's not for harm to peoples.So it's seems that media are not much connected with robots. They not too kind with the robots and Al.AI will work for human but when it will astral in robots, it will be something else to notice. But we also must see the liberal side of it. If it will be Sophia AI or new Alexa or Siri but how human get to accept the things is also matters.
2)The second one is on the iMom - Mom robot.
In this film they used one mom robot- iMom
In it also we see that robot harm the humans. That iMom killed the child so it's seems more dangerous to take a robot as our safety and trust on them. So this type of stories play a vital role in the scaring for the robots.
3)The third is on Satyajit Ray's short story 'Anukul' (1976) - directed by Sujoy Ghosh
This is the short film based on one robot whose name is "Anukul". That's the same thing we find in it that film maker try to show us the disadvantages of robot. But there is reality that if you try to harm them after the making them than they will harm you. But one controversy is that robot and technology take a place of humans in their job so if they are in the job that what should human do? That is the big question?
In this one dilogue was there that....
"हम इंसान smart बनके तुम्हे बनाते है और बनाने के बाद तुम हम से ज्यादा smart हो जाते हो।"
So it's seems that humans are more smarter than robot because humans are make them. But when they became out of control than its problamatic but when it's happen? It will happen than human make mistake in the making of them. So there is nothing like to scared about them.
Conclusion :- We need to more faster and life style and for that we have to involve the technology in our life in very deep way. And it's easy for us to work with machine and technology. There is nothing like to scare. That stories are try to scare people for the robot.
